I can hardly believe it myself, but I swear on my childhood cat Panther's grave that last night, this beloved blog of mine that I've built for nigh on 18 years was suddenly and quite rudely un-alived by Google.
Yes, I was just casually looking through some posts, and out of the clear blue sky I was greeted with this:

Obviously alarmed, I checked my Scrog Tuah email and was incredibly nonplussed to find this:
At this point, I was beyond bamboozled, because I have absolutely no idea what a malware is, let alone how to deploy one on my blog.
The most troubling part of this whole experience, to me, was that it appeared as though the entire backlog of everything I've written here over the past 18 years was just cleared out of the Google memory banks in one fell, devastating swoop.
I now fully and in crystal-clear purview understand the pain of all my X-rated acquaintances' constant deletion by Instagram and the like.
Thankfully, there was an appeal button I could simply click and hope for the best ... and by the grace of god, this morning Scrog Tuah was back in action.
Why did this happen? Well, I have no way to prove it, but I highly, HIGHLY suspect it has something to do with my Farrah Abraham post a few days back.
Whether or not that's the case I'll never be able to say ... but I CAN tell you that Farrah herself inexplicably retweeted it, and that in and of itself makes this entire scare absolutely worth it. I give you the receipt:
