Is it bourbon time yet?

Today Is National Chicken Wing Day

Yes, I realize my very last post was about chicken wings, but little did I know that National Chicken Wing Day was coming right up. Thanks to the alerts I get from Buffalo Wild Wings (that's right, I get alerts from Buffalo Wild Wings), I was apprised of this vital information in time so as not to miss it.

The question is, where should I go to celebrate? There of course is the aforementioned BWW, which would be my normal Wednesday night destination, but then there's also the new Wing Stop that just opened by me which I have yet to patronize.

In both places, there are deals for free wings. But you have to spend a certain amount of money on something else to get them. At B-Dubs, it's $15 and you get six wings. At Wing Stop, it's $10 and you get five.

Now Wing Stop has this new Sweet Heat Chamoy flavor that sounds kind of tempting, but I don't know, it's a dry rub, and I'm just not really into that sort of thing. Also, I've been feeling lousy since last night, and I don't think that my stomach could contend with anything called Chamoy right now.

In fact, am I up to eatings wings at all? Just because it's National Chicken Wing Day doesn't mean I HAVE to get them. I'm certainly not going to buy other stuff just for the sake of getting the free wings, that's just idiotic ... UNLESS I got something I could take home with me and eat for lunch tomorrow and collect my free wings THAT way!

I could be onto something here. We'll see how I feel. I'm a little punchy on Dayquil at the moment.

All I know is, no matter what happens, I won't be enjoying any goddamn HONEY MUSTARD WINGS.

Bastards.

P.S. God, I miss Hooters.

What this post really brings to mind is what I forget what when I haven't been to the States for awhile: the insane amount of food choices and number of eatee '' good like from Near Dark
