OK, so I and about 15,000 other people were in the presence of Bill Murray last night, but I was pretty damn close. I'd say maybe around 50 yards.
Yes, thanks to my good pal JAG, I got to sit in premium box seats at the Hollywood Bowl for the opening night of "Music From the Films of Wes Anderson," which featured the one-and-only Mr. Murray as its host and was overall sensational.
But there's more—on top of Bill Murray presiding over the whole shebang, there were appearances by: Jason Schwartzman, Devo, BECK, Jackson Browne, the entire LA Philharmonic ... and, naturally, Wes Anderson himself. Plus a whole shitload of others.
I won't drag on about it any further, let me just show you (the rest of) my pictures—I know they're grainy, but that's because I wanted to get them straight on, as opposed to taking them from the Jumbotron.
