EXTRA! EXTRA!: RIP Scrogma, Say Hello to SCROG TUAH

If you've been following my blog for a long, long time—and should any such person exist, I am absolutely flabbergasted—then you'll know that every now and again I get a cinch in my craw (or whatever that expression is) to name it something new and snazz it up.

What started as The Scrog Blog very briefly in 2020 became Scroghub. But then, of course, COVID hit, and nothing seemed to really matter. And just a few (well, five) short months later, in July 2020, I threw caution to the wind and renamed it Scrogma. I thought it was simultaneously funny and cerebral. Or something.

But the truth is, it never REALLY felt right to me. And the even bigger truth is that I lost the domain TheScrogBlog.com years ago, and have no desire to go through the rigamarole of attempting to get it back. Especially since it seems to now belong to some travel blogger who hasn't used it since at least 2019. I'm not gonna go to battle with him over the name.

As a side note, I just devoured two leftover pickles from Canter's that were sitting in my fridge. And I'm drinking vodka. This is a weird, weird combination.

Anyway, that brings me to today's big proverbial ribbon cutting, almost six years to the date after the last re-christening, on my blog's brand new name, SCROG TUAH. 

It hit my like a bolt of asinine lightning a few weeks back, and I knew then and there that it had to be so.

I don't have to explain this, right? It speaks for itself? I'll hope for as much and move on.

Now then, you will notice that Scrog Tuah is actually not the FULL name. No no, I'll have it known by all far and wide that the full and complete name of this esteemed blog is: Scrog Tuah Or The Peter Warren Funk Shack.

This is official. And here at Scrog Tuah Or The Peter Warren Funk Shack, we (and by we, I of course mean I) have revamped the entire experience. The changes may not seem obvious, but trust me when I say they are mighty. 

Everything was redesigned with INTENTION. It all has meaning. Deep, deep meaning. 

And in one barely significant but still informational development, I have for the first time provided direct access to my very short-lived and long-defunct alternate blog, Schtupped. (And by short-lived, I mean it existed for just over a month in the summer of 2015.)

Well, that's about it. I hope to never go through another crazy redux like this again. But who knows, if TheScrogBlog.com ever comes back on the market...
